Caring for Our Rivers & Streams

Caring for Our Rivers & Streams-As we enjoy the fun, recreation, wildlife and sanctuary of our rivers this summer, we hope that you will help us protect them.

Join us this fall with our Stream Rehabilitation Training Course. No experience or expertise needed, as it is geared to anyone with an interest in streams, rivers, watersheds, and rehabilitation. It is also for those in the field, planning or management of water.

Our Stream Rehabilitation Training (SRT) workshops will be running this fall from November 17-24, 2019, in Calgary, Alberta.

We are now accepting registration for Workshops 1-3. Thanks to the City of Calgary, Alberta Conservation Association, Alberta Ecotrust Foundation and TD Friends of the Environment Foundation for their generous support of this program

Upon completion, you will receive a certificate from Trout Unlimited Canada. This series of workshops will help support your chapter’s rehabilitation projects effectively and efficiently and includes:

Workshop 1: Creating the Context: Watershed & Stream Systems Workshop 2: Understanding and Assessing the System Workshop 3: Diagnosing the Problem and Developing a Plan

Help us take care of our rivers.

For more information please contact Lynn Robb at Trout Unlimited Canada or visit our SRT webpage.
