Central Alberta Chapter Donates Books

Trout Unlimited Canada’s

Central Alberta Chapter recently donated books to 24 elementary school libraries in Red Deer.

The schools were both Red Deer Public Schools and Red Deer Catholic Schools. Each school received the following four titles:

Down By The River by Andrew Weiner Fish Eyes by Lois Ehlert Jangles by David Shannon The Freshwater Alphabet Book by Jerry Pallotta

The purpose of the donation is to continue to develop the minds of students in Central Alberta in both reading and the appreciation and stewardship of our natural resources. This helps to meet the mission of the Central Alberta Chapter which is the pursuit of the protection of fish and their habitats, in the west-central region of Alberta. The chapter hopes the children enjoy these stories and learn to appreciate their surroundings.
