Trout Unlimited Canada is excited to announce that it has received a $100,000 grant from RBC to support
the Bronte Creek Watershed Renewal Program!
These grant funds will be used to support the program for the next two years and kick start a new large-scale restoration project in the Bronte Creek Watershed. The new large scale project is located in the headwaters of Bronte Creek in Courtcliffe Park, Carlisle/Hamilton, ON and aims to improve water quality and quantity.
The project will be developed with community partners, including the City of Hamilton, the Courtcliffe Park Committee, the Hamilton-Halton Watershed Stewardship Program and the Ted Knott Chapter of Trout Unlimited Canada. Once the project gets rolling, Trout Unlimited Canada will be promoting opportunities for individuals to get involved through community volunteer work days.
