Trout Unlimited Canada’s Water Edu-kits are coming to Ontario Schools this fall.
TUC created this new program to complement our award winning and highly successful Yellow Fish Road education program. This pilot program will be launched in Ontario this fall and will be offered to teachers and community group leaders. The Water Edu-Kits will allow for teachers and students to explore the science of water and the issues of water pollution in Ontario enabling youth to become Water Smart.
The Water Edu-Kit packages will be available on-line for FREE, the teachers/schools pay the postage. Water Edu-Kits include a Teacher’s Guide, Student Worksheets and a Water Protector dry bag complete with tools of the trade to help youth to monitor the health of their local watershed. This kit connects with the Ontario Curriculum for Grades 8-12.
