Yellow Fish Road in a Box-In celebration of TUC’s Yellow Fish Road program’s 25th anniversary we are introducing the ‘Yellow Fish Road in a Box.’
Yellow Fish Road (YFR) is Trout Unlimited Canada’s signature education program. This award-winning national program teaches youth about the protection of our waters through the reduction of storm water pollution. Learning is linked to action through fun and interactive presentations and community-based storm drain painting projects.

YFR in a Box offers four different options:
Partner “YFR in a Box’ $1,500 New partners can get it all for their organization. This premiere box includes a watershed model, carrying case, program files, presentation videos, scripts, program banner, dye cast (door hangers), ‘how to videos’, storm drain painting supplies for 48 (8 kits), bio-facts and resource materials.
School ‘YFR in a Box’ $750.00 Suitable for school classes and contains a teacher’s guide, student activity cards, a presentation video, ‘how to videos’, storm drain painting supplies for 30 (Five kits), bio-facts and resource material. Educators will find lesson plans to support educational goals for their journey of learning throughout the year.
Group ‘YFR in a Box’ $500.00 Ideal for a small troop of Girl Guides, Scouts or other community groups. It contains leader instructions, group game cards, ‘how to videos’, storm drain painting supplies for 24 (Four kits), YFR badges and resource material. Leaders can use the material to complete specific badge requirements.
Action ‘YFR in a Box’ $350.00 Perfect for classes or groups only wanting to take action in their community and do the storm drain painting component. This box contains kit supplies for 18 (Three kits) to participate in the program and includes a Program Guide a ‘how to video’ and follow-up learning activities all about water.
